Account Manager
About the role
The Account Manager will support and grow International Leak Detection's (ILD) sales efforts across the Greater Toronto Area. This role builds relationships with clients and partners, manages a growing account portfolio, and helps drive company revenue.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated sales professional to grow into a technical, solutions-oriented B2B environment. No prior industry experience required. The Account Manager will identify opportunities within target markets and help position ILD’s technological edge and monitoring reliability with clients and prospects.
Reporting on account activity and market insights, the Account Manager will work closely with the National Sales Manager to support ILD’s continued growth.
Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, supporting ILD's product offerings: EFVM®, Smartex®, and conductive mediums.
- Identify opportunities within target markets such as roofing contractors, building owners, consultants, engineers, architects, commercial property managers, and facility management firms.
Pipeline & Revenue
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline; meet revenue targets through new business development and upselling to existing accounts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with accounts, channel partners, and clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Participate in relevant industry organizations and events.
Brand & Market Positioning
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to communicate ILD's technological edge, monitoring reliability, and expertise.
- Support and deliver presentations to prospective clients on ILD's services and products.
Reporting
- Provide regular updates, pipeline reports, and market insights to management.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience (industry background not required; construction, roofing, or technical sales experience is a plus but not necessary).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage a client pipeline.
- Willingness to travel 25–30% for client engagements and industry events.
Preferred:
- Interest in or willingness to learn ILD's core technologies.
- Existing network in roofing, building envelope, or facility management sectors.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Greater Toronto Area, ON
