About the role

The Business Automation Analyst will drive AI adoption across the global workforce as part of the AI Governance & Adoption team. This role will lead enterprise Microsoft 365 Copilot training and enablement for more than 7,500 license holders. You'll partner with IT and the M365 team to facilitate workshops, office hours, and business-unit sessions that help employees use AI in their daily work. The analyst will also help business users design simple agents with Copilot and Copilot Studio. They will also help formalize and scale the team's new adoption processes as AI use-case volume grows. This team member will be a confident communicator and facilitator who learns quickly and is comfortable working hands-on with AI. They will bring a continuous improvement mindset to turning manual work into repeatable programs that scale.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and facilitate recurring Copilot training, including monthly Deep Dive and New User workshops and Copilot Connect office hours
  • Design and deliver custom workshops for business units, from intake and needs assessment through delivery and follow-up resources
  • Drive enterprise adoption programs, including the Copilot Roadshow, Power User Insights, and a tiered Copilot training program, in partnership with IT and the M365 team
  • Help business users design and build simple agents with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio, making sure governance, permissions, and data-handling guidelines are followed
  • Answer incoming Copilot questions and requests, and connect users with the right resources, recordings, and partners
  • Maintain and grow the Copilot resource library, including training recordings, how-to guides, and Viva Engage community content
  • Standardize workshop intake and request processes, and find ways to streamline and automate manual work as volume grows
  • Track and report adoption measures such as workshop attendance, request turnaround time, and Copilot usage trends
  • Partner with governance team members to promote responsible AI use and help scale the team's AI Governance & Adoption program
  • Use strong presentation and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively by email, virtually, or in person with audiences at every level
  • Stay current on new AI features and share new ideas and perspectives

What makes you a dream candidate?

  • Knowledge of automation assessment, lifecycle methodologies and documentation best practices
  • Automation certification in Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or UiPath preferred
  • Knowledge of GM Financial or another auto finance company core business functions, policies and procedures a plus
  • Experience with various automation and productivity tools
  • Skilled in the use of low code technology and the development of automation solutions

Work Experience and Education

  • 3 years of demonstrated experience as a business analyst or similar role required
  • Proven track record of solving difficult problems in an enterprise environment required
  • 1 year working on automation or other technology initiatives as a business analyst or other applicable role preferred
  • Experience working with both the business and IT to deliver business value preferred
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

License

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
