About the role
TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Plano, TX to identify a tenured SQL Database Administrator who will support database modernization, security, governance, and cloud transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Administer SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure platforms
- Manage Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Automate administrative processes using T-SQL and PowerShell
- Support database security, governance, and compliance initiatives
- Lead cloud database migration efforts
- Mentor junior database professionals
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of DBA experience
- SQL Server administration

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $73.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
