Job Description
Lulu Wild is seeking an experienced and organized Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, support the culinary team, maintain food-quality standards, and ensure an efficient and safe kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service
- Lead, train, and support kitchen staff
- Coordinate kitchen workflow and staff assignments
- Monitor food quality, preparation, portion sizes, and presentation
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Monitor food inventory, ingredients, and kitchen supplies
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food products
- Monitor food costs and help minimize waste
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are followed
- Coordinate effectively with front-of-house staff and restaurant management
- Support scheduling, opening, and closing procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Head Chef, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and team management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Schedule
Full-time restaurant schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay: £18.00-£24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 per week
