IT Manager / Head Technology (Capital Markets / Stock Broking)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager / Head – Technology to lead and manage the organization's technology infrastructure, application development, digital platforms, and automation initiatives within the financial services domain.

The role will be responsible for managing trading systems, client onboarding platforms, technology infrastructure, databases, websites, digital communication systems, and strategic technology initiatives that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Digital Platform Management

• Manage and maintain corporate websites and digital platforms.
• Ensure timely updates of research content, margin files, client communication modules, and IPO-related information.
• Implement SEO best practices and improve website visibility.
• Drive digital initiatives to enhance user experience and platform performance.
• Ensure website uptime, responsiveness, security, and scalability.

Email, SMS & Communication Systems

• Manage email servers, user accounts, and communication infrastructure.
• Execute bulk communication campaigns related to research updates, IPOs, regulatory communications, and client engagement.
• Monitor and maintain email and SMS gateway systems.
• Ensure reliability, security, and backup of communication systems.

Server & Infrastructure Management

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, and network systems.
• Ensure business continuity through backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement system security measures and performance optimization initiatives.
• Maintain high availability and uptime of critical business systems.

System Development & Automation

• Develop and maintain centralized databases and business applications.
• Build and manage automated notification systems for clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance KYC, account opening, and client onboarding platforms.
• Implement workflow automation and process digitization initiatives.
• Build APIs and integrate third-party applications and services.
• Implement role-based access controls and information security protocols.

Trading & Back-Office System Management

• Manage trading, back-office, and operational support systems.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-office, back-office, compliance, and onboarding platforms.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Support business teams in enhancing operational efficiency through technology.

Mobile Applications & Digital Platforms

• Oversee the performance and functionality of mobile applications and digital platforms.
• Ensure smooth operation of trading, client servicing, and onboarding applications.
• Coordinate with technology partners and vendors for upgrades, enhancements, and support.

Database Management

• Maintain centralized databases and data repositories.
• Ensure data security, integrity, availability, and backup procedures.
• Manage large-scale data processing and reporting requirements.

Client Onboarding & eKYC Systems

• Manage and enhance digital account opening and eKYC platforms.
• Implement and improve client verification and onboarding workflows.
• Integrate onboarding systems with regulatory and operational platforms.
• Drive automation to improve client onboarding efficiency and turnaround times.

IPO & Payment System Integration

• Manage IPO application platforms and exchange integrations.
• Oversee payment gateway integrations and digital payment workflows.
• Ensure seamless processing and monitoring of online transactions.

Experience Requirements

• Proven track record of implementing technology-driven business solutions.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud Technologies, Cyber Security, Infrastructure Management, or Data Management will be an advantage.

Preferred Profile

• Experience in capital markets technology ecosystems.
