Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Marketing Manager to lead the college's marketing and student admission activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, generating student enquiries, promoting academic courses, managing admission counsellors, and achieving annual admission targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, leadership, networking, and marketing skills, along with experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Admissions: Plan, manage, and oversee the complete admission process to achieve the college's annual admission targets.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the college, its courses, facilities, and academic achievements.
  • Student Enquiry Generation: Generate enquiries through digital marketing, social media, educational fairs, seminars, school visits, and other promotional activities.
  • School and Institutional Outreach: Build relationships with schools, principals, teachers, educational consultants, and other relevant institutions to attract prospective students.
  • Digital Marketing: Coordinate online campaigns, social media promotions, lead generation, and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Admission Counselling: Supervise the admission counselling team and ensure timely follow-up with prospective students and parents.
  • Admission Campaigns: Organize career counselling sessions, campus visits, open days, education fairs, and admission drives.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of marketing executives and admission counsellors.
  • Lead Management: Maintain student enquiry databases, track leads, monitor conversion rates, and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Target Achievement: Set admission targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to improve student enrolment.
  • Market Research: Analyse competitor colleges, market trends, student preferences, and opportunities to increase admissions.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on enquiries, applications, admissions, marketing expenditure, and campaign performance.
  • Brand Building: Enhance the college's reputation and visibility through effective promotional activities and community engagement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA in Marketing will be preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in educational marketing, college admissions, or student recruitment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to generate student enquiries and convert them into admissions.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media promotion, and lead management systems.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and team management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for school visits, educational fairs, and promotional activities.
  • A target-oriented approach with a strong focus on student recruitment and institutional growth.
