About the role

Our Global Structure

Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

We’re hiring a new member to Consumer Strategy & Operations to develop and execute winning growth strategies in Italy. You’ll be part of the Market Growth team within EMEA Consumer Strategy & Operations (S&O), the function responsible for regional growth strategy and accountable for the topline targets. In this role, you’ll work directly with Italy’s General Manager, defining priority cities, building the playbooks to win and programme managing the delivery with the local management team.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Analytics, and Finance. This is a cross-functional role requiring strong analytical thinking, structured communication, and sound commercial judgment.

What you’ll be doing

Strategy & Insight

  • Be the GM’s growth partner: help define priority cities, and formulate plans to grow in those cities
  • Understand the behaviours and needs of Italian consumers, and use that to influence the Product roadmaps across pricing, Plus, and the core user experience
  • Carry learnings from EMEA and the US into the market

Performance & Planning

  • Co-own Italy’s consumer growth metrics, ensuring we hit the topline. Partner with Analytics to diagnose performance drivers and develop corrective action plans where needed
  • Support the GM in annual and quarterly planning: help define the strategy, set the goals, run the workshops, and co-own the output documents with F&S

Execution & Delivery

  • Programme-manage growth plans and support the local team to deliver them, including ad-hoc cross-functional projects
  • Develop structured execution plans and drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure delivery

Our humble expectations

  • Fluent in Italian, the working language of the local business, and English the working language of DoorDash group; both written and spoken
  • 5–10 years in strategy, consulting, business operations or a growth-related role in a tech or consumer business
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work from incomplete data sets
  • Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across teams and up to GM level
  • Demonstrated ability to drive structure, clarity and progress in complex, cross-functional environments
  • High personal ownership and bias for action, while knowing when to escalate or seek alignment
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work across a diverse set of teams and perspectives
  • (Bonus) Experience in marketplaces, consumer tech, food delivery, multi-market ops, or the Italian market

Frequently asked questions

Answers about finding your next role

What can I search for?

Search by job title or keyword, then browse remote, hybrid, and onsite openings in one list.

Where can I find remote jobs?

Browse remote openings on Remote Amigo. Search by job title or keyword, then choose Remote in the work format filter. Check each listing for location or country requirements.

How do I narrow the results?

Choose a country, work format, minimum annual salary, and experience level. You can change or clear the filters at any time.

What will I see on a job page?

Each listing shows the role, company, location, work format, salary when available, skills when provided, and a job description.

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

No. You can search and read the available listings without signing in.

Does this site submit job applications for me?

No. You can search and review listings here. The Apply button starts the job preference quiz; it does not submit an application to an employer.

Where do the jobs come from?

Listings are imported from public job feeds and job sites. Job details may change at the original source, so confirm the latest information before applying.

How recent are the listings?

Search results include listings with a publication date in the last 30 days. If a source provides no publication date, the import date is used; the actual posting may be older.

Can I search for remote jobs only?

Yes. Select Remote in the job type filter to show remote listings. You can switch to Hybrid or Onsite whenever you want.

What is the difference between remote, hybrid, and onsite?

Remote roles are intended to be done away from an office. Hybrid roles combine remote and office work. Onsite roles are based at a workplace. Always read the listing for its exact location requirements.

Can I filter jobs by country?

Yes. Choose a country in the search form to narrow the listings. A remote role may still have country restrictions, so check its description before applying.

Why do some jobs have no salary listed?

Some listings do not include pay information. We show a salary when it is available and leave it out when it is not provided.

Is the salary filter a monthly or annual amount?

The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.

Can I change or clear my search filters?

Yes. Change the keyword, country, job type, salary, or level in the search form. You can clear individual fields and run a broader search again.
