Role Description
The Clinical Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD, responsible for overseeing clinical operations and maintaining high standards of patient care. This is for our Locust Point clinic, housed inside of a beautiful and modern training facility along with our partners at SOBO Strength and Performance. This role includes providing direct patient care in a sports physical therapy setting, supervising and mentoring clinical staff, and ensuring evidence-based treatment approaches are consistently applied. The Clinical Director will collaborate with therapists and support staff to optimize patient outcomes, manage schedules and caseloads, and uphold regulatory and ethical requirements. Additional responsibilities include contributing to program development, supporting professional education and training, fostering a positive clinic culture, and partnering with leadership on quality improvement and patient experience initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and allied health disciplines relevant to sports physical therapy.
- Demonstrated experience with Clinical Supervision, including mentoring, performance feedback, and supporting professional growth.
- Knowledge of Mental Health and Psychology as they relate to athlete well-being, motivation, and recovery.
- Understanding of Behavioral Health principles, including behavior change strategies and adherence to rehabilitation plans.
- Licensed physical therapist (DPT or equivalent) in good standing, or other appropriate clinical licensure for a director-level role.
- Previous leadership or management experience in an outpatient or sports rehabilitation setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and delivering inclusive, non-discriminatory care to a diverse patient population.
