About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to maintain and modernize secure cloud infrastructure supporting critical government operations. We welcome mid-level and senior professionals with strong Linux, AWS, CI/CD, and

recent hands-on Python experience

You’ll keep complex systems reliable, integrate new capabilities, and improve automation, security, and software delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and enhance infrastructure through updates, configuration changes, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and automation supporting infrastructure and operations.
  • Support AWS architecture and cloud environments.
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux systems.
  • Integrate new capabilities into existing systems and environments.
  • Resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Recommend improvements to architecture, performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement security hardening and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Support security assessments, compliance activities, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) preparation.
  • Collaborate with development, engineering, security, and operations teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure, or a related technical field.
  • Recent hands-on Python experience is required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain SCI access, and willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with AWS architecture and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience maintaining and upgrading complex technical environments.
  • Strong understanding of automation, infrastructure management, and software delivery.
  • Experience working under rigorous security and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Supporting intelligence community or other highly regulated government environments.
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and ATO preparation.
  • Security hardening and vulnerability remediation across Linux and AWS.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
  • Automated deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and provisioning tools.
  • Integrating established systems with new capabilities.
  • Improving infrastructure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
