A community-based youth program is seeking an Employment / Internship Coordinator to help youth and young adults ages 13–25 access meaningful employment, internship, vocational training, and educational opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building employer relationships, providing career guidance, and helping young people develop the skills needed for long-term success.

Salary:
$59,000/year
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with employers, internship sites, schools, vocational programs, and community partners.
- Identify and coordinate employment, internship, training, and educational opportunities.
- Provide career coaching, resume assistance, interview preparation, and workplace-readiness training.
- Manage internship placements, track attendance and timesheets, and monitor participant performance and retention.
- Support participants with career planning, certifications, vocational training, and educational goals.
- Collaborate with program staff on individualized service plans, case management, and participant engagement.
- Maintain accurate participant records and participate in team meetings, program activities, and community-based services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience in workforce development, employment services, internship coordination, youth development, or case management preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with justice-involved or high-risk youth is a plus.
