Role Description

The Fashion Designer will work on-site full time at the Los Angeles, CA studio, collaborating with the creative team to develop seasonal collections from concept through final samples. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching trends, sketching designs, selecting fabrics and trims, and sending tech packs to our vendors. The role involves participating in fittings, refining garment construction, and ensuring designs align with brand aesthetics and quality standards. The designer will partner closely with pattern makers, sample rooms, and vendors to manage prototypes, support production, and meet calendar deadlines. The position also includes contributing to presentations, maintaining design archives, and supporting cross-functional teams such as merchandising and marketing when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, with the ability to translate ideas into cohesive collections.
• Hands-on experience with Textiles, including fabric selection, properties, and appropriate usage for different garment types.
• Experience with Fitting, garment drape, and construction to ensure proper fit, comfort, and wearability.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and ability to create clear technical flats.
• Strong visual, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a studio environment.
• Excellent organization and time management, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Have an AA or BAA degree as a Fashion Design graduate.
