About the role

About Faire

Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.

We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this Role

We are looking for a Head of Paid Marketing to drive efficient customer acquisition and retargeting at scale, in service of Faire's ambitious global growth goals on both sides of the retailer and brand marketplace. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will own the strategy, budget, and measurement for all of Faire's paid channels (including search, social, affiliates, display, audio/podcasts, video/CTV), act as the primary executive stakeholder for paid performance, and lead a dedicated team of paid marketers. The ideal candidate is a data-driven operator who has scaled 8-9 figure paid budgets in a two-sided marketplace or in support of small business owners, has hired and led high-performing, AI-native growth marketing teams, and is fluent in modern measurement/attribution methodology.

What you'll do

  • Own and scale global paid acquisition across both sides of the marketplace (retailers and brands) to $xxM annually while hitting target payback/efficiency thresholds; act as the primary executive stakeholder for paid performance
  • Define and communicate paid's long-term strategic roadmap to executive stakeholders, and build a resourcing and investment framework to address key risks such as channel consolidation, global competition, customer TAM, and brand awareness
  • Build a best-in-class retargeting/remarketing program to drive incremental marketplace GMV and re-engage lapsed retailers and brands
  • Diversify the paid channel mix by testing and scaling new channels beyond today's core, with clear incrementality evidence and Finance & Strategy alignment
  • Build the measurement and attribution infrastructure (incrementality testing, MMM, multi-touch attribution) needed to make confident investment decisions in upper-funnel and brand media
  • Hire, coach, and retain a paid marketing team recognized as best-in-class; establish AI practices — including self-serve workflows — that transform and automate our core paid marketing processes to compound experimentation velocity and decision quality
  • Partner closely with Creative and Product leads to build a high-velocity A/B testing process spanning creative messaging, customer needs, and user segmentation into a unified experimentation roadmap
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to harden the data pipelines paid depends on (tracking, tagging, feeds, attribution); audit and onboard external vendors/agencies that strengthen the MarTech stack and unblock team velocity

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in performance/paid marketing, with deep, hands-on expertise across paid search, paid social, affiliates, display, and CTV/video
  • Track record scaling paid acquisition budgets (8-9 figures annually) while hitting efficiency/payback targets in a fast-growing company
  • Superb written and oral communication skills; able to represent performance, risk, and opportunity crisply to senior leadership
  • Proven track record partnering with creative and product teams to build a high-velocity, A/B testing culture across core and experimental channels
  • Proven people leader who has hired, developed, and scaled a high-performing paid marketing team; comfortable operating as both strategic leader and hands-on operator
  • Fluent in measurement/attribution methodology (incrementality testing, MMM, multi-touch attribution) and comfortable partnering with data science/analytics on experiment design
  • Experience using AI to automate and scale paid marketing testing and operations (e.g., creative testing, audience testing, bidding signal testing, keyword signal testing) — treats this as how the team runs day-to-day, not a nice-to-have
  • Experience evaluating, onboarding, and managing external MarTech vendors or agencies
  • Exemplary budget ownership, with strong partnership with Finance teams to define forecasting and performance narrative across multiple channels and audience segments
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-growing, evolving organization
  • Excited and authentically motivated by Faire's mission
  • Genuine, empathetic, humble, and kind team player and cross-functional collaborator

Bonus points

  • Experience leading brand awareness or upper-funnel campaigns, comfortable making the case for expanded investment with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in two-sided marketplaces or with products aimed at small business owners
  • Experience leading international/global paid marketing at a public company
  • Strong opinions on creative messaging and brand aesthetic; opinionated about when to use AI for creative experimentation in paid contexts
  • Experience partnering with Engineering to harden data pipelines and tracking infrastructure that paid marketing depends on

Frequently asked questions

Answers about finding your next role

What can I search for?

Search by job title or keyword, then browse remote, hybrid, and onsite openings in one list.

Where can I find remote jobs?

Browse remote openings on Remote Amigo. Search by job title or keyword, then choose Remote in the work format filter. Check each listing for location or country requirements.

How do I narrow the results?

Choose a country, work format, minimum annual salary, and experience level. You can change or clear the filters at any time.

What will I see on a job page?

Each listing shows the role, company, location, work format, salary when available, skills when provided, and a job description.

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

No. You can search and read the available listings without signing in.

Does this site submit job applications for me?

No. You can search and review listings here. The Apply button starts the job preference quiz; it does not submit an application to an employer.

Where do the jobs come from?

Listings are imported from public job feeds and job sites. Job details may change at the original source, so confirm the latest information before applying.

How recent are the listings?

Search results include listings with a publication date in the last 30 days. If a source provides no publication date, the import date is used; the actual posting may be older.

Can I search for remote jobs only?

Yes. Select Remote in the job type filter to show remote listings. You can switch to Hybrid or Onsite whenever you want.

What is the difference between remote, hybrid, and onsite?

Remote roles are intended to be done away from an office. Hybrid roles combine remote and office work. Onsite roles are based at a workplace. Always read the listing for its exact location requirements.

Can I filter jobs by country?

Yes. Choose a country in the search form to narrow the listings. A remote role may still have country restrictions, so check its description before applying.

Why do some jobs have no salary listed?

Some listings do not include pay information. We show a salary when it is available and leave it out when it is not provided.

Is the salary filter a monthly or annual amount?

The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.

Can I change or clear my search filters?

Yes. Change the keyword, country, job type, salary, or level in the search form. You can clear individual fields and run a broader search again.
