
Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room
About the role
The role involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room within a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, performing interventions to ensure safety during surgery, and assisting physicians to implement care plans while maintaining continuity between the bedside and OR.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics, hold an Ohio RN license, and possess a BSN or be pursuing one.
Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, with PALS and CNOR preferred.
Strong Critical Thinking And Patient Assessment Skills Are Essential.
Additional experience in pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures is a plus.
Must pass background screening and onboarding processes.
