ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers' most pressing national security requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Anduril's AIS team is seeking experienced Rust developers to build out the software ecosystem supporting next-generation hardware platforms powered by cutting edge System-on-Chip devices.

  • Architect, maintain, and evolve complex software systems, refactoring existing codebases to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Develop high-performance Rust software for real-time systems, ranging from tactical implementations to simulation environments and decision support tools.
  • Apply software design patterns and architectural best practices to manage technical debt and guide the evolution of production systems over time.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of production-grade Rust experience in a Linux development environment
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
  • Experience with network protocols and deeply familiar with networking fundamentals
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
  • A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance, at a minimum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with embedded platforms
  • Experience refactoring and modernizing Rust codebases in production environments.
  • Track record of architectural decision-making and technical leadership on long-lived projects.
  • Contributions to open-source Rust projects or the broader Rust ecosystem.
  • Experience with concurrent and parallel programming patterns in Rust.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.
