About the role

Improvado is an AI-powered marketing data platform built for mid-market and enterprise teams. We help companies automate complex marketing data workflows, unify data at scale, and surface insights through BI and AI. Brands like ASUS, Docker, Activision, and H&R Block rely on us to simplify analytics and improve marketing performance.

We’re a fast-growing Series A startup backed by $34M in funding and driven by a team that moves fast, stays curious, and cares about high-quality execution.

About The Role

As a Technical Support Team Lead, you build the automation and AI layer that keeps our support organization fast, reliable, and scalable, and you lead the small team that runs on top of it.

We are building an AI-first support function, and you will design and ship the agents, workflows, and tools that embed AI into everyday support work.

What You'll Do

Automation & AI Tooling: Build and maintain automations and AI agents (with tools like Claude Code, n8n, Make, and our MCP setup) that remove manual support work, from ticket triage and reply drafting to knowledge-base upkeep and quality checks. Measure the time they save.

Process Building: Write playbooks and documentation, spot recurring issues, and fix root causes instead of repeating fixes.

Advanced Troubleshooting: Investigate complex data pipeline issues (API → SQL → platform) and coach the team to do the same.

Team Leadership: Lead a small team of Analysts: set priorities, own escalations, keep SLAs on track, and run post-mortems. Light-touch mentoring, not micromanagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success on structured bug feedback and support tooling.

Continuous Tech Exploration: Test new AI models, agent frameworks, and tools, and bring the ones that work into production.

What You Bring

AI Builder: A power user of LLMs, coding agents (e.g. Claude Code), and automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Make, Zapier) who has built a workflow, agent, or tool that is actually used. You understand prompting vs. orchestrating and can spot and fix wrong AI output.

Automation Mindset: Hands-on scripting or automation experience (Python, n8n/Make-style workflow tools, APIs), and a habit of asking "why does this keep happening?"

Database Proficiency: Strong SQL and relational databases: complex queries, debugging slow scripts, finding root causes in complex schemas.

Radical Ownership: You bring order to chaos, never lose track of open issues, and prefer prevention over reaction.

Leadership & Independence: Experience coordinating teammates and staying calm under pressure. Formal management is a plus, not a prerequisite.

Tech Enthusiast: You follow new tools and experiment for fun.

Clear Communication: Fluent English and clear, structured writing.

Frequently asked questions

Answers about finding your next role

What can I search for?

Search by job title or keyword, then browse remote, hybrid, and onsite openings in one list.

Where can I find remote jobs?

Browse remote openings on Remote Amigo. Search by job title or keyword, then choose Remote in the work format filter. Check each listing for location or country requirements.

How do I narrow the results?

Choose a country, work format, minimum annual salary, and experience level. You can change or clear the filters at any time.

What will I see on a job page?

Each listing shows the role, company, location, work format, salary when available, skills when provided, and a job description.

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

No. You can search and read the available listings without signing in.

Does this site submit job applications for me?

No. You can search and review listings here. The Apply button starts the job preference quiz; it does not submit an application to an employer.

Where do the jobs come from?

Listings are imported from public job feeds and job sites. Job details may change at the original source, so confirm the latest information before applying.

How recent are the listings?

Search results include listings with a publication date in the last 30 days. If a source provides no publication date, the import date is used; the actual posting may be older.

Can I search for remote jobs only?

Yes. Select Remote in the job type filter to show remote listings. You can switch to Hybrid or Onsite whenever you want.

What is the difference between remote, hybrid, and onsite?

Remote roles are intended to be done away from an office. Hybrid roles combine remote and office work. Onsite roles are based at a workplace. Always read the listing for its exact location requirements.

Can I filter jobs by country?

Yes. Choose a country in the search form to narrow the listings. A remote role may still have country restrictions, so check its description before applying.

Why do some jobs have no salary listed?

Some listings do not include pay information. We show a salary when it is available and leave it out when it is not provided.

Is the salary filter a monthly or annual amount?

The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.

Can I change or clear my search filters?

Yes. Change the keyword, country, job type, salary, or level in the search form. You can clear individual fields and run a broader search again.
