About Societ

Societ is a leading software company dedicated to empowering nonprofit organizations. Our solutions support case management, donor management, fundraising, and financial processing, helping nonprofits focus on what matters most: their mission.

As we grow Glass Register, our free online donation platform, we're looking for a resourceful, customer-facing professional to help nonprofit organizations move successfully from sign-up to active fundraising.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an organized, resourceful, high-energy self-starter who takes pride in helping nonprofits move from “We signed up” to “We’re successfully fundraising.” As a Customer Activation Specialist, you will own the early customer journey for qualified organizations, from eligibility review through setup and early fundraising. You'll be expected to notice when organizations stall, take initiative to re-engage them, and work toward clear activation and service goals.

Most organizations will begin their fundraising journey through Glass Register’s self-serve sign-up process. When needed, you will respond to inbound requests and provide one-to-one walkthroughs to help organizations decide whether Glass Register is a fit, complete setup, and go live.

What You’ll Do

  • Review new Glass Register accounts and inbound inquiries, using established processes to verify that organizations are legitimate nonprofit or charitable organizations eligible to use Glass Register.
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer, verification, task, and follow-up records in Glass Register and the CRM.
  • Proactively contact qualified organizations by phone, Zoom, and email when they stall after sign-up. Use sound judgment, persistence, and creative problem-solving to help them move forward and improve the conversion of qualified inbound organizations into active fundraisers.
  • Help organizations complete setup and start fundraising, including Stripe connection, donation forms and campaigns. Provide practical support by email, phone or Zoom, including demos and onboarding sessions when helpful.
  • Respond to inbound questions from prospective and existing customers, resolving routine account, payment and product questions independently and escalating complex technical issues when needed.
  • Identify where organizations commonly stall after signing up and recommend improvements to follow-up, guidance, resources, and the self-serve journey. Share recurring questions, friction points, and fundraising-related feedback with the Product team to help more qualified organizations launch and fundraise successfully.

What We’re Looking For

We care more about your curiosity, drive, and ability to learn than a perfect background. You may be early in your career. If you are eager to learn, organized, comfortable with technology, and willing to take ownership, we encourage you to apply.

The right candidate has:

  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales, support, onboarding, fundraising, or operations role is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence supporting customers and presenting the product by phone or video.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound judgment when reviewing organizations, customer needs, and eligibility requirements.
  • The ability to learn new software tools quickly and explain a product clearly to customers with different levels of technical confidence.
  • A practical, solutions-oriented approach to researching unfamiliar problems, taking initiative, and knowing when to escalate.
  • Motivation to work toward measurable goals, take ownership of outcomes, and follow through when an organization needs support to move forward.

Bonus Experience

  • Nonprofit, charity, or fundraising experience.
  • SaaS, fundraising technology, or payment-platform experience, particularly Stripe.
  • CRM experience, particularly Zoho CRM.

Success in This Role

After six months, you will have:

  • Completed eligibility reviews promptly and consistently, ensuring qualified organizations receive timely follow-up.
  • Helped qualified organizations complete setup, publish donation forms or campaigns, and become active fundraisers with Glass Register.
  • Maintained an accurate customer funnel in Zoho CRM, giving leadership visibility into customer progress and blockers.
  • Met agreed inbound service and conversion goals, including timely responses and meaningful customer progress from sign-up through early fundraising.
  • Identified high-value onboarding friction points and shared customer feedback with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to improve the self-serve experience.

Why This Opportunity?

Glass Register provides eligible nonprofit and charitable organizations with a fast, simple, and completely free way to fundraise online while keeping 100% of every gift. Your work will help organizations move smoothly from sign-up to a live donation form to receiving their first donations, removing cost and technical barriers so more of the money they raise can go directly toward the communities and causes they serve. This is varied, hands-on work that combines customer interaction, problem-solving, fundraising and technology.

Engagement Details

  • Full-time, remote temporary contract.
  • Target annual compensation: $50,000 to $60,000.
  • Expected through December 2027, with the opportunity for extension based on performance and company need.
  • We are actively interviewing and looking to hire as soon as possible.
Salary: $50,000-$60,000

Frequently asked questions

Answers about finding your next role

What can I search for?

Search by job title or keyword, then browse remote, hybrid, and onsite openings in one list.

Where can I find remote jobs?

Browse remote openings on Remote Amigo. Search by job title or keyword, then choose Remote in the work format filter. Check each listing for location or country requirements.

How do I narrow the results?

Choose a country, work format, minimum annual salary, and experience level. You can change or clear the filters at any time.

What will I see on a job page?

Each listing shows the role, company, location, work format, salary when available, skills when provided, and a job description.

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

No. You can search and read the available listings without signing in.

Does this site submit job applications for me?

No. You can search and review listings here. The Apply button starts the job preference quiz; it does not submit an application to an employer.

Where do the jobs come from?

Listings are imported from public job feeds and job sites. Job details may change at the original source, so confirm the latest information before applying.

How recent are the listings?

Search results include listings with a publication date in the last 30 days. If a source provides no publication date, the import date is used; the actual posting may be older.

Can I search for remote jobs only?

Yes. Select Remote in the job type filter to show remote listings. You can switch to Hybrid or Onsite whenever you want.

What is the difference between remote, hybrid, and onsite?

Remote roles are intended to be done away from an office. Hybrid roles combine remote and office work. Onsite roles are based at a workplace. Always read the listing for its exact location requirements.

Can I filter jobs by country?

Yes. Choose a country in the search form to narrow the listings. A remote role may still have country restrictions, so check its description before applying.

Why do some jobs have no salary listed?

Some listings do not include pay information. We show a salary when it is available and leave it out when it is not provided.

Is the salary filter a monthly or annual amount?

The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.

Can I change or clear my search filters?

Yes. Change the keyword, country, job type, salary, or level in the search form. You can clear individual fields and run a broader search again.
