The opportunity

Reporting to the SMB Sales leadership team, you will be responsible for growing Petal Medical Billing sales among physicians and clinics in Quebec.

This is a full-cycle B2B sales role. You will manage inbound leads, develop new opportunities through prospecting, and guide prospective customers throughout the sales cycle, from the initial conversation through to close.

You will also reactivate previous opportunities, actively manage your pipeline, and build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals.

You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Billing Operations teams to understand customer needs and recommend solutions that fit their practice.

Your responsabilities

  • Manage the sales cycle with physicians, clinics, and other healthcare professionals, from initial contact through to close.

  • Manage inbound leads and generate new opportunities through prospecting.

  • Lead discovery calls to understand prospective customers’ needs, challenges, and priorities.

  • Present and demonstrate Petal Medical Billing and clearly communicate its value.

  • Maintain consistent and timely follow-ups throughout the sales process.

  • Re-engage previous leads and closed-lost opportunities.

  • Manage your pipeline, activities, and opportunities in Salesforce.

  • Partner with the Billing Operations team to address more specialized customer questions.

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across other Petal solutions.

  • Share customer feedback and market trends with internal teams.

  • Represent Petal at selected industry events and conferences in Quebec.

Requirements

What you bring

  • Professional experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management with commercial responsibilities.

  • Hands-on experience with prospecting, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and customer relationship development.

  • The ability to manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales cycle.

  • A consultative approach: you seek to understand the customer’s needs before recommending a solution.

  • Strong autonomy, organization, and consistency in follow-up.

  • The ability to work toward sales targets and move opportunities through to close.

  • Curiosity and the ability to quickly learn a specialized product and industry.

  • A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.

  • Excellent written and spoken French.

  • Good command of English to support the professional interactions required as part of the role.

Important assets

  • Sales experience with physicians, clinics, or other healthcare professionals.

  • Experience in health technology, medtech, pharmaceuticals, or medical billing.

  • SaaS or technology solution sales experience.

  • Experience using Salesforce.

  • Outbound prospecting experience.
