About the role

About inquirED inquirED supports teachers with high-quality instructional materials that make joyful, rigorous, and transferable learning possible for every student. Inkwell, our elementary core ELA and social studies curriculum, fully integrates both subjects into one coherent instructional block, building deeper knowledge, comprehension, and literacy skills. Inquiry Journeys, our K–5 social studies curriculum, is used nationwide to help students develop the content knowledge and inquiry skills essential for a thriving democracy. Great First Eight Pre-K/TK, co-designed by Dr. Nell K. Duke, is a research-based curriculum that builds early literacy, math, and other key areas of development through purposeful, play-based learning.

About the role

Description

As our Events & Field Marketing Manager, you'll own the management of every inquirED event and conference from start to finish. That includes every conference we attend, plus our happy hours, dinners, customer events, and the Social Studies Leadership Symposium.

We're launching Inkwell and Great First Eight alongside Inquiry Journeys, and events are one of the most important ways to reach district leaders. We're looking for a scrappy, detail-obsessed builder who figures out what they don't know and is excited to help us create momentum with events.

In this role you will:

  • Own every conference inquirED attends, plus our hosted events and Symposium.
  • Manage one calendar and budget.
  • Recommend which events to do, cut, or add based on results.
  • Build invite lists with Sales, write event copy, and run invites and RSVPs.
  • Plan booths, receptions, dinners, and speaker moments, so district leaders leave with a strong impression of inquirED.
  • Own sponsorships, event briefs, creative deadlines, shipping, booth staffing, internal comms, and vendor payments.
  • Collaborate with Sales on post-event strategy, ensuring a smooth and speedy hand-off, and execute marketing action items.
  • Recap each event within two weeks: cost, meetings, opportunities, and what to change.
  • Travel to events for on-site execution, with heavier travel during fall and spring conference seasons.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years running B2B or education events, including trade shows and hosted events
  • Experience managing an events budget and negotiating with venues and vendors
  • Comfort working with Sales and assuring they follow-up without formal authority
  • HubSpot or similar CRM experience, including lead capture and list building
  • K–12 or EdTech experience is a plus, not required
  • Strong project management skills and a record of coordinating contributors and meeting overlapping deadlines.

Why Work For Us

  • Health & 401K: Employee-covered health care and retirement match
  • Flexible PTO & Company Closures: Flexible PTO and 12+ observed days off.
  • Chances to Connect: Biannual company retreats and optional local meetups
  • Remote Opportunities: Most positions are remote, supporting work-from-home flexibility
  • Perks and Stipend: Technology package provided, plus a home office stipend
  • Learning and Development: Educational and development opportunities, monthly Brunch and Learns, and more!

The base compensation range for this role is $97,750-132,250. Total compensation for this role also includes a full benefits package. This compensation range and title may be adjusted based on actual experience.

Frequently asked questions

Answers about finding your next role

What can I search for?

Search by job title or keyword, then browse remote, hybrid, and onsite openings in one list.

Where can I find remote jobs?

Browse remote openings on Remote Amigo. Search by job title or keyword, then choose Remote in the work format filter. Check each listing for location or country requirements.

How do I narrow the results?

Choose a country, work format, minimum annual salary, and experience level. You can change or clear the filters at any time.

What will I see on a job page?

Each listing shows the role, company, location, work format, salary when available, skills when provided, and a job description.

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

No. You can search and read the available listings without signing in.

Does this site submit job applications for me?

No. You can search and review listings here. The Apply button starts the job preference quiz; it does not submit an application to an employer.

Where do the jobs come from?

Listings are imported from public job feeds and job sites. Job details may change at the original source, so confirm the latest information before applying.

How recent are the listings?

Search results include listings with a publication date in the last 30 days. If a source provides no publication date, the import date is used; the actual posting may be older.

Can I search for remote jobs only?

Yes. Select Remote in the job type filter to show remote listings. You can switch to Hybrid or Onsite whenever you want.

What is the difference between remote, hybrid, and onsite?

Remote roles are intended to be done away from an office. Hybrid roles combine remote and office work. Onsite roles are based at a workplace. Always read the listing for its exact location requirements.

Can I filter jobs by country?

Yes. Choose a country in the search form to narrow the listings. A remote role may still have country restrictions, so check its description before applying.

Why do some jobs have no salary listed?

Some listings do not include pay information. We show a salary when it is available and leave it out when it is not provided.

Is the salary filter a monthly or annual amount?

The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.

Can I change or clear my search filters?

Yes. Change the keyword, country, job type, salary, or level in the search form. You can clear individual fields and run a broader search again.
