About the role

Saalex is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager in Ridgecrest, CA to lead and execute corporate marketing, branding, communications, digital media, and content development initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining brand consistency, creating compelling marketing campaigns, supporting recruiting and business development efforts, managing corporate communications, and producing digital and multimedia content that strengthens audience engagement and organizational visibility.

Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70k-$90k (depending upon experience)
Work Location: Fully remote.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute corporate marketing and communications strategies that support organizational goals, business development efforts, recruiting initiatives, and brand awareness.
  • Manage and maintain corporate brand standards, messaging, visual identity, and marketing collateral across all platforms.
  • Plan, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns across websites, social media platforms, email communications, and other digital channels.
  • Create and oversee production of marketing content including graphics, videos, presentations, infographics, motion graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Lead corporate communications efforts by developing internal and external messaging, announcements, newsletters, and leadership communications.
  • Support recruiting initiatives through employment branding, social media campaigns, recruitment advertising, and talent attraction strategies.
  • Collaborate with business development, capture, proposal, and operational teams to develop marketing materials, presentations, and proposal graphics.
  • Manage website content, user experience improvements, and digital engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate external vendors, creative resources, and marketing projects while ensuring schedules, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Develop and maintain marketing templates, branding guidelines, and communication standards to improve organizational consistency and efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure marketing initiatives effectively support organizational objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, branding, digital media, or related disciplines.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple communication channels.
  • Strong knowledge of branding, corporate communications, content marketing, and digital marketing principles.
  • Experience creating and managing content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting government contracting, defense, aerospace, or technical organizations.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Experience supporting proposal development, capture efforts, or business development activities.
  • Experience with video production, motion graphics, and multimedia content creation.
  • Experience managing website content and digital engagement strategies.
