About the role

About Us and Why We’re Hiring

At Terra Energy, we’re making residential solar and battery solutions more accessible while building a scalable business across multiple markets.

As we expand in Texas, California, and Florida, organic social media plays a key role in increasing brand awareness, building trust with homeowners, and generating new business opportunities. We’re looking for an Organic Social Media Marketing Manager to lead our organic social media strategy, create compelling content, and grow our audience across platforms.

This role goes beyond publishing posts. You’ll own the content process from strategy and production to distribution and performance analysis, transforming videos, customer stories, and industry insights into engaging, platform-specific content. Working closely with our Paid Ads Manager, you’ll help identify successful content, expand its reach, and strengthen Terra Energy’s digital presence.

If you’re passionate about creative storytelling, social media growth, and using data to drive results, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact at Terra Energy.

The Role

As Terra Energy’s Organic Social Media Marketing Manager, you’ll own the strategy, creation, and execution of organic content across YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X. You’ll transform long-form videos, customer stories, and field content into engaging, platform-specific posts that increase reach, grow our audience, and build brand credibility.

You’ll work closely with the Paid Ads Manager to identify high-performing content, coordinate production, and maximize the impact of our digital marketing efforts. From managing the content calendar and engaging with online communities to analyzing performance and optimizing creative strategies, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Terra Energy’s digital presence and generating new business opportunities across our markets.

This is a full-time position based remotely or in a hybrid arrangement in Texas, California, or Florida, with occasional travel for content shoots and partner events.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own Organic Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy and monthly calendar across YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
  • Create and Repurpose Content: Script, film or direct shoots, edit videos, write captions, and transform long-form content into platform-specific posts, short-form videos, and engaging social media campaigns.
  • Build Brand Awareness: Develop recurring content formats featuring customer testimonials, solar installations, energy bill breakdowns, battery backup solutions, and partner spotlights.
  • Collaborate with Paid Media: Work closely with the Paid Ads Manager to identify high-performing organic content, coordinate shoots, share insights, and support paid amplification.
  • Manage Online Communities: Respond to comments and direct messages, route sales inquiries to the appropriate teams, support customer engagement, and strengthen Terra Energy’s local presence.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency and Compliance: Ensure content aligns with Terra Energy’s brand voice, visual identity, and marketing guidelines, including required reviews of claims related to savings, tax credits, and system ownership.
  • Track Performance and Optimize: Monitor views, audience growth, engagement, website traffic, and leads generated through organic social media. Prepare weekly and monthly reports and recommend improvements.
  • Test New Content Formats: Experiment with creative concepts, hooks, and storytelling approaches to identify what resonates with homeowners and drives sustainable audience growth.
  • Support Local Market Growth: Tailor content to Texas, California, and Florida, highlighting relevant customer needs, market trends, solar benefits, and battery backup solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Social Media Marketing Experience: Proven experience managing organic social media strategies and growing audiences across multiple platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
  • Content Creation Skills: Hands-on experience with video scripting, filming, editing, copywriting, and developing engaging content tailored to each platform.
  • Video-First Content Strategy: Ability to transform long-form videos and raw footage into multiple short-form videos, posts, and other content formats.
  • Audience Growth and Engagement: Demonstrated ability to increase organic reach, grow followers, improve engagement, and build active online communities.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience using social media analytics to measure performance, identify trends, test new ideas, and optimize content strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with paid media, marketing, and operational teams to align content production and maximize results.
  • Strong Communication and Creativity: Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content that connects with homeowners and builds brand trust.
  • Organization and Ownership: Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple channels, content calendars, and deadlines independently.
  • Brand and Compliance Awareness: Ability to maintain brand consistency and follow content review requirements, particularly when communicating financial savings, tax credits, and solar system ownership.
  • Preferred Industry Experience: Experience in renewable energy, residential solar, home services, or other consumer-focused industries is a plus.

How You’ll Work at Terra Energy

  • Collaborative and Cross-Functional: Work closely with the Paid Ads Manager, marketing leadership, and market teams to align content strategies, coordinate production, and share performance insights.
  • Creative and Fast-Paced: Test new ideas, experiment with content formats, and adapt quickly to audience behavior, platform trends, and business priorities.
  • Data-Driven: Use analytics and performance reports to understand what resonates with audiences, improve content effectiveness, and guide future decisions.
  • Multi-Market Focused: Develop content that reflects the needs of homeowners in Texas, California, and Florida while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Take responsibility for the organic content process from planning and production to publishing, community engagement, and reporting.
  • Integrated Marketing Approach: Collaborate with the paid media team to share assets, amplify successful content, and contribute to Terra Energy’s overall digital reach and business growth.
  • Compliance and Quality Focused: Ensure published content meets brand standards and follows the required review processes for solar savings, tax credits, and system ownership claims.

What Success Looks Like

  • Organic Reach and Visibility: Consistently increase organic views across social media platforms, expanding Terra Energy’s visibility among homeowners in Texas, California, and Florida.
  • Audience Growth: Build a growing, engaged audience across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X, increasing subscribers and followers over time.
  • Meaningful Engagement: Create content that encourages likes, comments, shares, and saves while improving video watch time and audience retention.
  • Qualified Business Opportunities: Drive traffic to Terra Energy’s website and contribute to proposal requests, sales leads, and partner inquiries through organic social media.
  • Consistent, High-Quality Content: Maintain a reliable publishing schedule and deliver engaging, platform-specific content that reflects Terra Energy’s brand and customer needs.
  • Strong Organic and Paid Collaboration: Identify high-performing organic content that can be amplified through paid campaigns, helping both teams maximize reach and content effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly test new formats, analyze results, document learnings, and use performance data to refine the content strategy.
  • Brand Trust and Compliance: Strengthen Terra Energy’s reputation through authentic customer stories, community engagement, and accurate, compliant communication.

Frequently asked questions

Answers about finding your next role

What can I search for?

Search by job title or keyword, then browse remote, hybrid, and onsite openings in one list.

Where can I find remote jobs?

Browse remote openings on Remote Amigo. Search by job title or keyword, then choose Remote in the work format filter. Check each listing for location or country requirements.

How do I narrow the results?

Choose a country, work format, minimum annual salary, and experience level. You can change or clear the filters at any time.

What will I see on a job page?

Each listing shows the role, company, location, work format, salary when available, skills when provided, and a job description.

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

No. You can search and read the available listings without signing in.

Does this site submit job applications for me?

No. You can search and review listings here. The Apply button starts the job preference quiz; it does not submit an application to an employer.

Where do the jobs come from?

Listings are imported from public job feeds and job sites. Job details may change at the original source, so confirm the latest information before applying.

How recent are the listings?

Search results include listings with a publication date in the last 30 days. If a source provides no publication date, the import date is used; the actual posting may be older.

Can I search for remote jobs only?

Yes. Select Remote in the job type filter to show remote listings. You can switch to Hybrid or Onsite whenever you want.

What is the difference between remote, hybrid, and onsite?

Remote roles are intended to be done away from an office. Hybrid roles combine remote and office work. Onsite roles are based at a workplace. Always read the listing for its exact location requirements.

Can I filter jobs by country?

Yes. Choose a country in the search form to narrow the listings. A remote role may still have country restrictions, so check its description before applying.

Why do some jobs have no salary listed?

Some listings do not include pay information. We show a salary when it is available and leave it out when it is not provided.

Is the salary filter a monthly or annual amount?

The minimum salary field uses US dollars per year. It filters listings that have comparable salary information.

Can I change or clear my search filters?

Yes. Change the keyword, country, job type, salary, or level in the search form. You can clear individual fields and run a broader search again.
